About the job

As a Senior Manager within PwC’s HR Digital team, you would lead and develop our HR Digital team as well as selling HR digital projects and leading their successful delivery with our clients. To keep pace with the momentum that we have built in the marketplace in the HR digital fields of robotics, AI, blockchain and analytics in the areas of HR, people, workforce and workplace, we are rapidly growing our team and need a new leader that can help to further build that team and its capabilities. We work across the whole spectrum of project stages with our clients, from vision and strategy through design, build and implementation as well as supporting our clients with the HR transformation activities. These activities can initially be either a driver of the digital activity (e.g. an automation to enable a redesigned process), or an outcome of the digital activity, (e.g. following analysis and recommendations of a people analytics exercise). In performing our HR digital work, we utilise a variety of PwC’s own market leading tools as well as utilising applicable software and platforms from specialist third party vendors. The Senior Manager we are seeking would be a key person in leading the definition of solutions for our clients, including the tools, to suit their individual specific needs. 

Your lead role in PwC’s HR Digital team would mean working with a wide range of PwC market facing teams to help them to develop opportunities and solutions for their clients. In addition, you would work with other teams in our People & Organisation practice such as Modern HR, HR Cloud, Risk and Remuneration, Global Mobility and Employment Tax to further shape and develop our HR Digital service offerings and to take them to market. Typical clients for the sorts of services on which you would be focused are those of a significant scale, (over 3.000 employees and mostly over 10.000), with complex strategic and transformational needs in order to make their organizations and their HR functions fit for the future. The role would also involve liaising with our vendor alliance leaders and the vendors themselves.  

As a Senior Manager level within PwC, you are able to lead strategic, challenging and potentially large projects while acting as a sparring partner for your clients and your colleagues. You know how to make meaningful connections at different levels, with executives, (top) management and professionals; through this, you build sustainable relationships. You would lead the continued growth and evolution of PwC’s HR digital business in the Netherlands. 

Requirements

You have extensive experience within the digital HR environment and the latest developments in the field. You are a thought leader in your HR digital fields and have proven your ability to grow a team and manage the successful delivery of complex projects. You are proactive, agile and a great coach. You’re a team player, adjusting naturally to changing situations and looking for opportunities to collaborate where possible. In addition, you consider it a challenge to go that little bit further for the client.

Experience

  • Relevant academic degree (e.g. HR, IT related studies, innovation studies organizational sciences, organizational psychology, business administration), or equivalent 
  • Broad, in depth experience within the HR and HR digital fields
  • Consulting team management and development
  • A proven track record working on a variety of digital HR topics and working across a range of technologies (e.g. Robotics and AI, or digital HR applications)
  • Affinity with and interest in digitalization and emerging technologies such as Big Data, IoT, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain, including how developments in these areas influence organizations and the people and cultures within them
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver large and/or complex HR digital projects
  • Knowledge of products or platforms such as Faethm, HR Forecast, Blue Prism, Microsoft Viva, Seedlink and TrueChoice
  • Digitally savvy, you seek out and embrace innovative and evolving technologies. You enjoy applying new tools and trends to client’s issues
  • A strong and compelling point of view around Digital HR transformation

  • Excellent social and communication skills, works well independently as well as within a team full of different competencies
